The Association of Professional Tourist Boat Owners of Thessaly was founded in 1995 with the aim of spreading marine tourism in Greece. With a force of 50 or more offshore sailing vessels, it is one of the largest unions in Greece. The owners-captains are waiting for you at the ports of Volos and Skiathos to guide you through the seas of the north-eastern Aegean, willing to satisfy your every need, which ensures your easy arrival at the ports, the necessary provisions of your trip, comfortable, pleasant and your safe journey to the beautiful corners of our islands. The full Technical and Tourist support of our Association guarantees the quality of your vacation. The boats are docked in Volos and Skiathos, ports located in the center of the Greek area and the sea of the northeastern Aegean. They are available for individual charters with or without a captain (bare boats) as well as organized charters in groups with an accompanying guide ship (flotillas).
Based on the ports of Volos and Skiathos we recommend:
1. One week holiday for beginner sailors. Starting from Volos and approaching the enchanting beaches of Pagasitikos gulf, the picturesque villages and the island of Trikeri.
2. One-week holidays for experienced sailors starting from Volos or Skiathos with destination complex of the islands of the North Sporades - Skiathos - Skopelos - Alonissos.
3. Two-week holidays for experienced sailors starting from Volos. Skiathos with destination maritime area of the Northeast Aegean.
4. Combined holidays of one, two weeks with our Association's sailboat and accommodation in traditional guesthouses in Pelion, with a parallel tour of the historical archaeological sites and monasteries of central Greece.
Access to Volos is via the central road network of the country and is served by the airports a.- Nea Anchialos (35 km) b. Athens – El. Venizelos (330 km) and c) Thessaloniki (220 km).
